Phnom Penh’s broad boulevards and colonial ambiance reflects the era when the French were present in Indo-China. Located at the confluence of two rivers, Cambodia’s capitol also has some excellent markets and fine temples. Most of the hotels are located around the riverside with more accommodation being rebuilt or renovated as tourism develops. Places of interest include the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, the National Museum and the grisly Tuol Sleng Museum – a reminder of the dark days when Cambodia was ruled by the Khmer Rouge.
La Parranda Residence and Hotel, Phnom Penh is located near to the city centre, 5 minutes drive from the Central Market. The Express-boat port, with boats to Siem Reap, is only 15 minutes drive away. All rooms are comfortable, with good standard facilities. La Parranda Residence & Hotel is suitable for either business or leisure trips.
