VietNamNet Bridge – Large numbers of tourists and pilgrims have visited the Bai Dinh pagoda in the northern province of Ninh Binh - the largest pagoda in Southeast Asia. The pagoda also has many national records including the biggest Buddha statues and the biggest bell in Vietnam.

This octagonal bell tower is 22m high, 17m in diameter.
The bell tower has a 36-tonne bell. This bell was cast in the central city of Hue and it is recognized as the largest bell in Vietnam.

The Tam The Temple is located on the highest hill of the Bai Dinh complex. It is 76m above sea level.
The Buddha statues placed in this temple are recognized as the biggest of their kind. Each statue is 7.2m high and 50 tonnes.
The construction is scheduled to finalize this year to celebrate Hanoi’s 1,000th anniversary. Bai Dinh is called the pagoda of records.
Though currently under construction, the pagoda still attracts huge numbers of visitors and pilgrims.
